Summer Reading List

I'm a bit fan of nights curled up on the settee with a couple of candles lit and a book in my hands. July for me has been the month of kick starting my reading habit ~ as it went a miss for the couple of months prior ~ and I thought I'd share with you what I'm getting my head stuck into this August!

I want to start by shouting out one of my FAVVV authors, Paige Toon. Her lasted book, 'The Last Peice Of My Heart' came out a little while back now and was my holiday read whilst in Spain. Safe to say I should of taken another option as I was hooked on this the minute I turned over the first page and finished it within days.

First up on the reading list is Louise Pentlands, 'Wilde Like Me'. I'm a big fan of Louise's and love her humour and openess that comes across in all her videos so when her book became available I knew I had to get it. So far I'm loving it and although the main character is a single mum I'm still finding the book relatable. You can tell it was written by Louise as throughout it so far I've laughed, ALOT!

Next up is a book by Mhairi McFarlane called 'Who's That Girl' (nooo, it's not Jess but I have the song in my head every time I read the cover'. My friend Sophie lent me this book and I have my absolute faith in her judge of authors - after all she go me into Paige Toon. This book however has been sitting on my bed side cabinet a good amount of 2017 but as I said I was in a reading lull and I can't wait to get into it.

Finally, someone I think the whole of the UK loves, Adele. Ryan bought me her biography for Christmas (ahhhh can you believe I said it - Christmas!!) and it's another one that has unfortunately been gathering dust. I have however spent half an hour looking through the pictures - cause that's just how I am. I  specifically asked for this book, I love her music and all the feels it gives you so I am really excited to get into this.

What are you reading at the moment and who are your favourite authors?!
