It’s October, frickennnn October! Before we know it the children will be knocking on our doors for sweets dressed as monsters, fireworks night will happen and then Christmas will snuggle it’s was in to the end of the year. I’m not going to lie, I can’t wait but, seen as the year has already gone by SOOOO bloody fast I don’t want the next 3 months to disappear in the same way. For now, I want to focus on the months ahead and what I want to achieve before the year is over.
#1 - Fitness
Ask me 6 months ago or less how much I was working out and I would have been able to say at least 3 times a week, now...zilch!
Working out and fitness in general is something I have a love hate relationship with much like food. I either engross my self in one or the other and can’t quite find that balance between diet and fitness. I’m determined to get it right, starting now.
#2 - Save, Save, Save
You may already be aware that next year is the year I want to move out. I feel like I’ve grown out of my bedroom at the ripe age of 23 and ready to try full-time adulting! I’m always saving here and there but over the next few months I want to do it even more. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to buy items I love but more that I’ll think ‘do I really need it’ before rushing to the till! Like Tesco say...every little helps!
#3 - Declutter
I’ve decluttered my room as pretty far as I can go but some how I have 3 wardrobes full of clothes I never wear! Don’t ask me why I have so much and not sorted it sooner, it’s mainly down to laziness or I go ‘Oh, I’ll keep those trousers to paint in’ - why Lucy, why?! I painted my room once and have no intention of doing it again! I feel like knowing I have so much also makes my decisions so hard in the morning, I never want to wear any of it but I s stare at it for minutes thinking about it. It needs to go and it needs to go now.
#4 - Make Plans
Last Christmas (yeah I just said that), Ryan was given a voucher for a lovely restaurant and I was enlisted with the task of booking it. We’re in October now and we still haven’t been. I also won a London boat ride at work in March and we’re yet to do anything with that. I don’t want to miss out on this amazing opptunities because we were just to lazy to book or kept letting other plans override our ones. Nope, the next 3 months I’m going to claim and I might not been doing something every weekend but I would have made memories on the others!
