Highlights Of: May

When I was writing up my pointers of what I got up to this month I hadn’t realised a) how long this month had actually been and b) how random it has been in the terms of what I’ve been up to.

This month I’ve had family days, explorative afternoons and an evening with a spiritual medium… I’ll start with the later as it happened at the beginning of the month and it’s by far the most interesting thing that I’ve been up to.

Now I’m a sceptic when it comes to the afterlife, ghosts and ghouls etc. On Monday I can be the biggest believer and get scared by a creek upstairs and then by Friday not believe in a thing. For me I need the evidence and when the girls at my work came in the next day talking about an evening with a medium and told me about all the things he (the spiritualist) ‘knew’ I was hooked. So, I booked on the next outing and was nervous and giddy all at once. If you’re like me I’d recommend going, I can’t tell you that now I’m a believer or non-believer, but I definitely want to go again, it was interesting to hear peoples stories unravel and has made me leave that door more open to the idea than I was before.

So, between this wild night and the next one my assignment for my digital marketing course became live and now I’m on a deadline. I have mentioned this before in a blog post >>here<< but it has meant I’ve dedicated a lot of my spare time on it, that might be why this month has felt so long because I haven’t gotten up to too much by study and type, and more study followed by more typing. Saying this however I have spent any free time I’ve gained getting away from the screen, so blog posts have been few and far between, but I’m almost done… for now, then another assignment will get released so be prepared for a blog post influx then radio silence again.

I hope you’ve had the best month and I can't wait to be writing again on the blog! x
