When your normal day job includes the promotion of a spa it does come with its perks. As part of a launch event they were giving away this little bag of Elemis goodness and I had to grab one and see what all the fuss was about.
Sea Lavender & Samphire Bath & Shower Milk
So, let’s start with a strong favourite which is the Sea Lavender & Samphire Bath & Shower Milk. This is mainly my favourite piece because of the SMELL! I am not a fan on lavender and lavender is in ALLLL but one of this mini travel collection but there is something about this which isn’t lavender in an over powering kind of way… maybe it’s the ‘sea’ aspect but I love this. Can they bring this out in a candle PLZZ because I need it in all forms!
Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix
Night cream is something I do as part of my evening routine but I’m never too sure if I see any difference is I’m honest but having normal to dry skin I think it’s a good step to do for my face. That was until the Pro-Collagen Overnight Matrix was tried. When I woke up after using this my face felt so firm and plump I was amazed! Like how! HOW? Definitely something I’ll be squeezing to get allll of the product out of and not leaving a drop.
Balancing Lavender Toner
Now I don’t have a toner in my collection, shock horror. I’ve never found one I like or see the benefits of one. I will say that since adding this to my evening routine I have seen my redness reduce quicker and my skin feel extra satisfied. Is this the point of a toner? I don’t know but I’m enjoying it and maybe 2018 will be the year I delve into the world of face toners.
Sea Lavender & Samphire Body Cream
Just like the shower milk I’m obsessed with this because of the smell. It’s not as moisturising as I like body creams to be but when I do use this I basically have my arm stuck to my nose sniffing in its gloriousness…so you know swings and roundabouts!
Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser
When it comes to cleansers I compare everything ~ probably unfairly ~ to the Pixi + Caroline Hirons Double Cleanse. Initially I was thrown off by putting a cream on my face dry, I don’t quite know why but it doesn’t lather as moisturising as others and I’m not blown away. Saying this I have a friend who swears by this product, so I think it could depend on your skin type.
