This weekend has been a very baking heavy one. I've started soaking my Christmas cake, which I probably should have done weeks ago but it's still earlier than last year so, small improvements. I've also just baked a Mary Berry carrot and banana cake which is normal my go to, but this morning whilst in the oven it's decided to catch on-top so it's slight browner than i'd like but nothing a bit of icing won't cover!
How has been your week and weekend? I've been in Christmas planning overload; I have lists, lists and more lists! I just don't know what I would of done without my bullet journal anymore! I still need to finalise what I'm getting Ryan for Christmas and 1 friend whose birthday and Christmas are only days apart which does makes shopping that slight bit more difficult. I'm also Christmas home ware shopping which is something I have never done before. Last night I stocked up on Christmas magazines and my highlighter and me got to work circling everything I loved the look of. Safe to say I'll be looking out for these to go down in price either after Christmas or on black Friday as many of my new loves are from The White Company and whilst I’m trying to save to move out in the near future that light-up Christmas tree doesn't seem as necessary as I previously thought. I have loved it though, I also now have a Pinterest board dedicated to Christmas, another new xmas addition for 2017, so maybe next year if I’m settled into a new home I may not have a bed to lye on but I will be ready to put my Christmas decorations up no mater the time of year!
Over the next couple of weeks I think I’ll be hitting up some local boutiques for those unique presents and I also feel a trip to Southampton coming on as they have the best shops around! At the end of November I'm also going to the Winchester Christmas Market, which I’m, super excited about, as I never leave these things empty handed!
Have you got any Christmas bits ticked of your to-do list? Also what’s you favourite Christmas Market to go to?!
